December $487 prefit group buy???

7 twist. Really want to be able to run heavies. Description says 6 creed saami throat still.

Also wondering on the throat on their 223ai reamer they don’t list it
Fixing the descriptions, should be good.

Going 7 twist on the .223 AI. And, I am checking the reamer on Monday and I will update. Is there a consensus on the throat?

I didn't even realize Lapua made loaded ammo, that's awesome.

Who's making the Berger brass in those loadings?

Lapua brass in the Berger ammo
I source all my 6cm lapua brass from them since they no longer produce 6cm brass for reloading
Bonus it’s normally silly accurate for off the shelf ammo

Factory Lapua, Norma, and Federal have all been good to me for reloading brass.

The Norma 77gr factory load was particularly good.

Double check whatever brass you get for primer crimping marks. Shouldn’t be an issue if it’s 223 loadings. But more often I’m seeing crimped 556 loads that I wasn’t expecting.

Yep. Can confirm.
And just fyi, Lapua, Berger, and Vhitavuori are all part of the same holding company. And I know at least the Berger 73gr factory load uses N140 as its powder spec. Would suspect it’s VV powders in the rest of the Berger factory cases.

Capstone owns VV, Lapua, and Berger, so it makes sense.

The FGGM shot this group with the first five 77 match kings shot this in my .223 wylde…

I am somewhat interested in a 6 mag.

Can anyone explain the differences between the 6um and 6 prc (nsi)? I understand the parent cases are 7 saum and 6.5 prc, respectively. Is that accurate?

Case capacity?
Brass availability?
Dies available?

Why choose one over the other? Any insight would be much appreciated.

6 UM is a 6 SAUM improved with a 40 degree shoulder and requires fireforming. 6 UM 30 is not improved and doesn’t require fire forming.

6 PRC is a necked down 6.5 PRC. NSI is just the chamber/throat spec.

A PRC is going to win in case and die availability vs an improved saum. Usually not that hard to find some 6.5 SAUM brass though.

I don’t remember what actual case capacities are. Memory says it’s something like 68 grains for PRC and 77 for UM.

Depends how fast you want to go. 6 creed goes fast enough for me.

Thank you. This helps!
