I got a weird message on my iPhone that said there had been a data leak on this site and to change my password. Just me or did anyone else get something similar?

It was my iPhone, which made me think there might be something to it. It sent me to my settings to update my password.Who was it from?
I would have felt better if they did. Then I could have told them to kindly pound sand.Did they ask you to "kindly" change your password?
You may already know this, but don’t ever use a password for more than a single account. Belt and suspenders is to never use the same login ID - even if you need an email address for your user ID. Use an alias email address.Apple somehow compares your passwords to those having been involved in data leaks and prompts you to change. See here and my xfnity password:
