Dark Energy Poseidon XL power bank review

Dark Energy sent me one of their Poseidon XL power banks as part of a testing program. After playing with it around the house and at work for a couple weeks, I took it on a 4 day winter snowmobile/camping trip. I was definitely impressed, especially with its cold weather performance which has been a struggle for other power banks I own. it was 10-20 degrees F during the whole trip, and I didn't notice any extra charge drop. I used it to charge my phone, InReach, and flashlight/headlamp and had plenty of juice leftover after the trip. They advertise the battery to be shock/waterproof, which I found to be the case. It rode in an outside pocket of my backpack on the tunnel of my machine the whole trip, so it saw its fair share of snow and impacts. It also survived a tumble off of the machine into the snow on the side of the trail, where it stayed for about 45 minutes before I realized I had lost it. Definitely a beefy unit, probably a little heavy for backpacking but if you're looking for a large capacity power bank that's super durable, I'd recommend it.
