Original Listing: This knife is two years old. Dan made it for me with a tapered tang, thumb notches, mosaic pins, red liners, mammoth ivory scales and D2 steel with his famous (Bob Dozier) heat treat. (Dan is Bobs son in law).
It's skinned three elk, two deer and two bear. I've touched it up once and it's razor sharp. It has one kydex scratch that can be seen if it's held with the light reflecting off it perfectly, otherwise it's flawless.
I purchased on Rockslide two years ago and have never used it or carried. I had planned on skinning brown bear with it but never worked out.
