Custom Kifaru Top Lid

I posted this up over on the Kifaru forums but figured you guys may be interested too. I reverse engineered the Kifaru loco lid, and modified it a bit.

Instead of PALS on the top I put a matrix like on the highcamp. My plan is to make a matching L&L #11 or 500d organizer for the top.

Instead of tabs on the underside, I put a zippered pouch (like on the tactical XTL).

When I get my multicam DT3 back I'll take some more pics of it in use!

I would like to make a lid for my loco. I'm thinking about possibly putting a mesh type pocket on the bottom and maybe a matrix like you did for a pocket. Very cool work and thanks for sharing. P.S. how is this camo pattern going to match up to our multi cam pack?

Here's a pic of the lid on my multicam DT3. I made a large belt pouch in multicam tropic which I will mount on the side/bottom and plan to make another one for the other side.
