Any suggestions? While at the range this fall a LR shooter recommended Montour Rifles.

Any help would be appreciated.

Don't worry about the builder being local.
Its very easy to ship your part to a builder and have them ship your rifle back.
If you ship them an action you already own they can ship it rite back.
If buying an action thru them they have to ship to an ffl.
Easy to find a local ffl. They charge $35-50 to do the transfer.
I recommend Rbros Rifles

Wolf Precision in Somerset, Pa. Check out their website. Interesting concept with his ACE chamber. Definitely builds a nice rifle.

I had Kevin Cram w/Montour County Rifles build me a rifle a few years ago and Kevin does excellent work. If I lived in PA he would be my "go to" smith.

Montour rifles is only an hour from me so that makes it easy.

Dropped it off at Montour Custom Rifles. Seems like a great guy and didn't rush me in even the slightest bit.
