I am wanting to have an ultralight rifle built starting with a pre 64 Model 70 action chambered in .264 Win Mag. If you were going to look at someone to build this where would you start looking?

Personally if it's in good shape, I'd leave it alone. I see no reason to do anything to my 270.

That's one to keep original IMO.

But maybe that's just me.
