Up for sale is a 6.5 PRC built on a Borden Alpine short action with a Wyatts Baney box. Proof Research 24" 7.5 twist sendero contour barrel cut with Alex Wheeler's spec reamer. Muzzle threaded 5/8-24 and a SRS Ti Pro brake. Barreled action has a Rifle Basix trigger and is pillar bedded in a JGS Composites carbon fiber stock. Rifle and scope weigh 9lbs. 4oz, that would put the bare rifle just over 7lbs.
Barrel is broke in and it shot factory Berger ammo right around 1/2"-5/8" @2785 fps. Loaded up a known load that has worked in previous rifles and it shot under 1/2" @2935 fps.
Bare rifle without the scope and bi-pod is $4250 plus shipping. I have components and can also include the scope and rings for a turn key package if needed.
Took the rifle out to verify accuracy at 500 yards after cleaning the barrel. Cold bore shot on a freshly cleaned barrel was the low one, then 3 shots piled up in under 2"
