Crispi or La Sportiva?!?

I need a boot that I can wear for peakbagging, hunting and regular hiking. They’ll be a 3-4 season boot. I’ll be hiking part of the 48 4000 footers in New Hampshire with them next winter. I don’t necessarily need a insulated boot because my feet typically run warm when I’m moving. Even in snow and cold. I’ve been looking at the Thor, Wyoming and Nucleo boots. I know from online reviews, that the Crispi’s tend to run stiff and I believe the La Sportiva’s are on the looser side. Because I can’t try them on (I live in Connecticut), I’m on here asking for some advice. If you guys have some better options, by all means throw them out there. I do like these two brands because they’re Italian(I am also). I also think they’re just high quality boots. So, if you had to pick one of these or a completely different boot, what would it be? Thank you in advance.

Get both. See what fits better and return the other. Both make great boots.

I’m not sure what you mean by stiff and loose, but I wouldn’t make any generic assumptions about an individual boot based off the producer.

Both companies make boots that range from quite flexible and soft to very stiff in the sole.

I probably should’ve used flexible. I meant stiff in the sole and flexible in the sole. I’ve never had a hiking boot that’s got a stiff sole. Can i think of sole stiffness like my Chippewa logger work boots?

Definitely need to check fit. My first La Sportiva’s fit me like they were made for me, sadly they discontinued them (Omegas); I tried a second pair that were similar Trango GTX, they weren’t bad, but not the fit of the previous pair.

Tried the Crispi Thor and fit was perfect- roomy toe box, but the heel and midfoot was snug the way I like it.

Both have good outsoles.

Both very suitable for hunting and oeak bagging.
