I'm on the fence about buying a pair of Lapponia III's. Do you think they would be useless on a Haul Rd hunt since I'm bringing:
*Crispi Hunter GTX new last winter and conditioned with Crispi cream.
*Kuiu Kutana gaiters
*Dryft stocking foot waist waders
*Croc All Terrains that the Dryft stockings fit in and also my camp shoes
*Sealskinz waterproof socks for the crocs (and of course a few pairs of merino socks as well as 2 pairs of liner socks)
*Maybe will bring my Solomon X Ultra 4 GTX mid hikers, but I know they're going to be pretty useless.
I'm bringing an Alpacka Mule packraft (7.3 lbs) and 4 piece carbon paddle (another 2 lbs) so I don't think packing an extra pair of boots out into the tundra is an option between bulk and weight so they would most likely be staying in the truck. Depends on how things go or how far I hike out if I could return for them if needed
Would you even bother or do you think I'll be fine with the Crispi Hunter's? The Lapponia's will cover my other needs, but if they wouldn't be a pretty decent boot for the tundra, I'll hold off on ordering them.
