Looking for a cheap set of decent trekking poles, (actually two sets one for me and my wife).
I was hoping to grab a set of the carbon poles from costco but my costco does not stock them nor can I order them

let me know if you want to unload them....

You can order them on amazon if you can’t find any on here. I think about $35 for the Cascade carbon trekking poles, cheaper for the aluminum

I have yet to be begin to procrastinate.

I haven’t, I didnt compare the weight but wanted to try a carbon as I heard they were a bit quieter if you ding a rock or limb.

True. Just looked it up, looks like they are 10.4 oz / .29 kg . Instead of the carbon ones being 7.8 oz / .23 kg .

BTW I found them on amazon looks like there is a few different carbon ones by cascade. Some have twist locks and other have quick locks. All around 45 bucks shipped give or take. Look like I will probably close this thread. I don't know why I didn't check amazon first as it seems I get everything else on there. (which I am not proud of)

Yeah, I don’t like it much myself but here in AK amazon prime is almost a necessity. Heck I had toyo tires shipped to my house for free, $240 for the little car. Was like $500 locally. Love to support the little buy but gotta stretch the paycheck when you can.

Costco has a two pair of the carbon fiber models $70. I used the heck out of my first pair for about 5 years, finally broke one a few weeks ago shed hunting when it sunk about two feet into the mud as I slid down a creek bank for about ten feet. Not a pole made could survive that. I was sad to see it break but it didn't owe me a thing, other pole finished out the trip. Ordering the double pair pack soon myself, just check costco online.

Take your receipt to the store or let them know, they will hook you up for the 10, they always have for me in the past in situations like that. I love costco.
