Construction 101: Change Orders

This is a tough one, been on both sides of the coin. As an electrical contractor we try to be as clear as we can with what we include. I run into a lot of items that are not up to code and "could/ should" be fixed or I could turn a blind eye and look the other way. I try to be as detailed as can be when dealing with existing buildings. When it comes to new construction, it should be all inclusive and fairly straight forward.

As a Contractor, I’d rather do the carpentry side of the work, carpenter will save you money, contractor will spend it.
