Compound case for airline travel

Looking for a decent hard case that doesn’t break the bank, but is good for flying. I just booked a flight to go hunt with my brother in Colorado for elk. I found some decent ones on eBay used but shipping puts it not much cheaper than buying new!

SKB or Pelican. The Pelican is a little cheaper. I think Cabelas has a decent branded case too. Maybe RTIC? Not sure if the size works but the Apache at Harbor Freight.

I was looking at the Plano all weather. It’s $250 I think. Any experience with this case?

No experience with that Plano. I use skb and have a bunch of friends with Pelican. I have had my cases for several years so the price was very different. Think about the abuse of flying and packing. The case should easily with stand that madness.
