Colorado Rifle Hunt

I’ve got 9 points, looking to burn them on a Colorado rifle hunt, tired of point creep keeping me from drawing the archery unit I’ve been waiting on. Just looking for input on what units to look at, looking at unit 49 second rifle, just curious if there’s a better unit that I should be looking at. Thanks in advance.

You may have done this already, but you can go to CO website and see which hunts you'll be able to draw with your points.

I wish I could help with a unit to go to but I only hunt on3 OTC unit there.

Yep I’ve done that already, probably just gonna burn these and then hunt OTC from now on due to point creep

Keep digging into the Stats - there are a few good archery hunts you can do.
I wouldnt use 9 PPs on a 2nd Rifle tag in 49 - especially when it only takes 5 PPs

I’ve thought about holding out for a 49 first rifle as well…but don’t know if I’ll ever catch up to it

Keep applying for your preferred archery unit and then go rifle OTC if you don't draw.
