This past year I went on my first mule deer hunt in Colorado. It’s been a few years since I got a deer and when I saw this buck come by on the first morning I didn’t hesitate.

Couldn’t be happier with the experience and incredibly proud of this deer. Already looking forward to making the 20+ hour 1,300 mile journey again this year to enjoy the mountains to try to find this guy’s bigger brother.

Congrats. I'm a firm believer on not passing on something the first day hoping you'll see something better.

If your goals for the hunt were achieved then I am happy for you and congratulations. Nice to see a success story like this.
