Hey all,
Been lurking on the site a while, and recently took the leap to join up. My name is Mark, and I grew up hunting and trapping in the flatlands of Iowa, moved to Colorado a few years ago and didn't spend any time hunting. Have recently started making the effort to educate myself about the good 'ol West and the treasures it holds. Have been out hiking and cruising some spots a bit- looking forward to Spring Turkey and Deer/Elk. I mostly prefer to bow hunt, but am going to try to increase my chances and experience as much as possible this year with rifle season as well. Really love being outdoors, and love everything CO has to offer- love this site and looking forward to hopefully joining in on some of the get-togethers!
Outside of hunting, my wife and I just had our first baby (a boy, yeehaw!) so that has been new and exciting (tiring too). Definitely looking forward to sharing time in the wilderness hunting and fishing with him in the years to come!
