Has anyone had any problems with the orange shoulder Coleman isobutane canisters. I read that there used to be some problems with them several years back, but havent been able to find if they fixed the problem. They're the only iso cans that are sold around here without me having to drive a few hours to a larger city to pick up some msr cans. And the price isnt too bad either.

They don't have the same mix as the higher price iso and don't do as well in the cold for me. I do use them in the early season as I can get them at Walmart locally which is my only choice without driving over an hour

I’ve heard they don’t perform as well in cold temps. Dicks carry’s MSR cans now. Not sure if that helps you any.

Thanks for the input. Ive heard that they had problems just stop working when theres still plenty of fuel left. Ill probably just play it safe and pick up some msr cans next time i get to a place with some real selection before my hunting trip.

If this hasn't been said before....almost all of the canister fuel we buy in the US comes from the SAME factory in Korea and they slap a different label on them. They change the fuel blend per specs contracted.

Used the past 7 years with a Soto Windmaster with zero issues. Down to 0*F. Shake em up well before use. Buddy uses the same and never had a failure. If concerned take two. I quit taking two five years ago.
