That's a tough one. Hopefully gets fixed with out too much time/$$ needed.Post #5
Not quite what I expected this morning. Shot my second MER shot at 610. Ultimately the blame is on me b/c I failed to notice/double check but my suppressor was not fully threaded onto the muzzle resulting in a catastrophic failure. Nobody was hurt with the exception of my ego but it was a lesson learned. As the shot broke I saw one heck of a muzzle flash and i looked up to see my suppressor cartwheeling through the air at the 50 yard line. 🤦♂️ Needless to say I missed.
***PSA: Even though it seams obvious, don’t get complacent and make sure your suppressor is fully threaded and seated correctly. ***
Tbac pls hlp 😞
I used to play the game of trying to get my Ultra7 snug but not too tight. Shot a long range class a couple years ago, instructor basically said he cranks his cans on as tight as he can. He'd rather have to get a strap wrench to get it off than have it work loose and affect POI or get a baffle strike.
I've adopted that, and now after getting it carbon locked on a mount once I've also adopted CLR-ing the can when needed.
