CO OTC Whitetail

I am going to be getting a job offer in Colorado within the next week but the timing couldn't be worse. I will be missing out completely on my mid-west whitetail season and will obviously not be able to hunt mulies in CO. I saw that this year you can buy OTC whitetail tags for a number of units in Colorado but in areas not known for whitetail.

Can anyone pass along any kid of knowledge about which units actually have a population of whitetails?
