Climber to Hang-On Treestand Conversion

Had this idea a few years ago after constantly fighting branches and crooked trunks trying to use my old climber and finally got around to bringing the idea to fruition. It's kinda crude but it works and now I can use the lower half of my climber as a hang-on. The folding seat I added is removable if I ever want to return to climber mode.

Great idea but I'm also from Oklahoma and I'm sure you can find a better deer spot for that stand. I've tried that location and it's not productive.

Yeah, power pole overlooking a barren wheat field isn't a great stand location. But that fine specimen of Pinus electricus is handy for some backyard practice shooting from an elevated position.
