I know we have talked about using Citric Acid, to help save meat from spoilage. It is my understanding that it is to kill bacteria... BUT what about heat. Will Citric Acid help in the heat?? I am think that the answer is no but does heat in itself cause spoilage???
I might be over thinking this but I am going on a solo hunt in Gila... Big, and Hot Country...

I don't think there is anything you can do for meat to keep it from spoiling from heat... Best defense is to get it cooled off asap...
