Planning to order a Cimarron light soon and I'm torn on the door screen or not? Any input?

I like having a screen. If you use it on a warm day it gives you some ventilation without letting it fill with flying pests.

No screen, you can always pick up some mosquito netting and hang it over the door. It is sloppy compared to sewn in, but gives you the option to stay lighter when not needed.

That is how I do it at least.

I have been fine without a screen in my Silvertip. If it is hot, there is usually enough gap at the bottom for mosquitoes to get in anyway.

I have a half nest for my Redcliff, it is awesome for the wife and kids, but I would think long and hard before hauling it around on a hunt.

I struggled with this myself but ultimately decided ticks, snakes or scorpions where the bigger problem in warmer months and so I went without a screen sewn in my Cimarron. Makes the setup much more flexible. I run a 1/2 or full nest for bugs here in the midwest depending in the season/use as ticks are an issue almost all year. Alaska has no ticks so I don’t take a use a nest in October but did take a full nest this last August. Palace for 2 guys but we could have left it behind in hind site as we ended up camping high enough there where almost no bugs to speak of.

No screen for me in my cimarron. I went back and forth and even emailed SO (who, true to form for their great customer support, responded promptly to tell me that it was "dealer's choice" - basically folks seem split evenly between screened & screen-less).

It sounds like @Marbles and I have a similar approach. If I'm by myself, I go screen-less. If my older kids are with me, I'd just as soon have a half-nest anyway, which renders the screen point moot.

No screen. As said above, if you have it high enough off the ground for decent ventilation in warm climates, you'll have mosquitoes coming under anyways. I use an ultralight bug bivy when I'm solo and a full nest with the kids.
