Hey guys! So this is actually because the 7mm PRC has the FFT (Flash-Forged Technology) Stock. All this means is that Christensen has utilized newer technology in constructing the Carbon Fiber stock that allows them to achieve an even lighter stock. The .300WM still has the older version stock, which is still carbon fiber and lightweight in its own right, just not the Flash-Forged Technology. Hope this helps!
