Anyone have any input with the fierce barrels?

Ok stick if you were going with a steel barrel what are going with for hunting weight rifle?

Are you looking to rebarrel an existing platform,or starting fresh and new? What chambering in particular?

Hunting realistic yardage on game is 600. Shoot alot further for fun.

Fierce Firearms Disaster

Long read but could save you some money and headache. A few years ago we placed an order through a local Fierce distributor for 4 rifles. A Fury in 28 Nosler, a Fury in .300wm, a Carbon Fury in 6.5 PRC, and a Carbon Edge in .300 PRC. Out of those rifles the Carbon Edge was the only one to shoot...

That's a poor chambering,upon a poor receiver choice.

I'd start at the start,keep it real and simply connect mechanical dots by default.

. This guy is full of himself, don’t listen to him.

M700 actions have been a staple for years and several customs are M700 clones. Fierce seems to be getting mixed reviews lately. Same as christensen. Having said that I own several christensens and they have been awesome.

I've piles of 700's,in both S/A and L/A.

It just "happens",that L/A 700's,whether .473" or .532" wear a 3.680"-ish COAL. The Whizzum's are an exceptionally POOR "fit" there.

If/were I forced to suffer a 300 Whizzum,it would be aboard a Montucky. Then I would be MAD,that it wasn't a 7 Whizzum.



Though currently,I suffer multiple 300 Whizzums,from 23" to 30" spouts.............
