Canyon pounder or boonie?

For those wondering about seeing a sight tape, why not print your own using Archers Advantage or another software program of your choosing? You can easily customize the font with these. I’m far sighted, can see okay at distance, normally wear progressive lenses and those have powerful reading lenses built in. When I shoot short sessions for practice, I don’t wear glasses or contacts but I’d need 2.5 power readers to read the tapes that come with the sight. Using the tapes I print I can still read those without glasses or contacts. I do wear contacts when I hunt and shoot longer sessions and can see the custom tape even better with those.

That’s a good idea. I had forgotten about doing something like that.

I have both. Pluses and minuses to both. I love the canyon pounder but if you need to re-sight it , it is a little bit involved with allen wrenches. I love the middle pin as the slider.
Boonie is much easier to adjust on a macro level. Spott Hogg has never let me down. Plus changing tapes is really easy on it.
I will say that since the canyon pounder now has metal tapes.... its really nice in that aspect too.

You really can't go wrong with either one.
