Cannon g7x II or g9xII

Just purchased a Kowa 554 spotting scope and was looking at getting a camera for digiscoping. I’m a real fng when it comes to cameras but I think I’ve narrowed it down to these two. Is the g7x II that much better to deal with the little more pain of getting a tines up adapter on it.

Yes, the G7x II is slightly better. The faster f stop 1.8-2.8 is better then the 2.0-4.9 on the G9x II. With the long tube and if you will be shooting dusk or dawn then you are much better off with the 7.
