Looks like ATF is cracking down pretty hard right now. Hard to see how the JK Armament/KM Whisper type companies stay afloat right now. There's a couple threads on SH and Reddit that detail this better, but it seems that ATF is declaring any purchase of a kit without a Form 4 illegal and even extending that rule retroactively to cover past Form 1s.
A couple of these companies are running big sales right now, which is incredibly irresponsible given the new ATF rule. I'd stay away.
Had a JK Armament order that I just cancelled. Looks like I'm still stuck waiting (384 days) for my Form 4s.
