Can anyone offer up any good reading material....MILs

So all of my life I have shot scopes with MOA.
I have never been in the military or law enforcement so MILs were never really anything that I knew about until I got more involved with shooting.
So with that said I know MIL is taking off in the industry a lot. And I would like to learn more about it and at least try and understand it.
Can any of you offer up any good solid info on learning MILs.
There is so much stuff online that it is a little tough to determine if it is correct or even close.

Listen to this discussion on why mils work so well for quick drop calculations and wind brackets and then start running the numbers for your gun in your ballistics app. I think you’ll find that it works slick as snot. Then read the tread linked above that.

Buy a mildot master and play with it. A lot.

My brother is a sinper with 5th SF group. He passed these along to me. They are pretty straight forward and cover everything pretty well. Also like said above, get a mildot master and a kestrel.
