I see Newsom signed the barrel bill which takes affect 07/01/2027. I’m assuming this will eventually get challenged but now it seems you guys have to submit and pay for an “eligibility check” for a barrel.
(d) Commencing July 1, 2027, a licensed firearms dealer shall electronically submit to the department the information required by subdivision (c) for all sales and transfers of ownership of a firearm barrel.
He signed the “Glock ban” as well. Which also takes affect on 07/01/2026.
