I just purchased this pad as my first inflatable at 1lb 4 oz, 20"x72", and 3.5" thick. Obviously at this weight the R value isn't much, in fact it's not even listed on the box. Does anyone have any experience with this pad?

Assuming its only an R value of 1 I'm planning on cutting my Z lite Sol in half and using them in tandem. Its incredibly light and I'm thinking of spray painting it and using it as a butt pad for glassing as well.

From the Cabela's site:

The Cabela's Ultralight Sleeping Pad, item – 581153, has an R value of 1.0.

I haven't even seen these before. Looks like an inflatable pool raft. I can't hate on the 3.5" thickness but for money I would probably hold off for a sale somewhere else and pick up an XLite or XTherm for a few more dollars. But, keep us updated on how it does for you. I would guess that it would work pretty well this time of year.

heavier and colder than a neo air plus your still going to carry your zlite? i agree it would make a good pool toy though

It's being returned ASAP! The only positive thing I can say is that it held air. I've never heard anything squeak so much with even the slightest movement. I would have slept more soundly without it as I tend to shift positions frequently. That being said, I'm sold on a thick pad (the time period between exhaling and inhaling when it wasn't squeaking was great).
