Just ordered the euros from cabelas on sale and plan on ordering a demo pair of the 11x45 mavens to test out. Ive only ever ran 10x42, but while glassing for mule deer this year I was wishing I had more power. Going to keep the pair I like better and send the other back. For those of you with these binos what are your thoughts on them? Any of you that have tried them side by side?

I have used Meopta 12x50's extensively for five years. I think they are the best value out there. I have Swarovski's and have also spent considerable time behind Leicas. I think you will be very pleased with the Euro's/Meoptas. I have zero experience with Mavens. The beauty of 12's are they can be hand held, but to really get full benefit, 12''s and 15's need to be on a tripod. That's when a whole new world opens up.

Thanks for the input. I spend 90% of my glassing off a tripod. Night and day difference for sure! I look forward to testing them out.

I can’t say much about meopta/cabela 12’s, but if they are anything like the 15’s I have (meopta branded meostars) I’m sure you’ll be more than pleased. Meopta is a hugely underrated and underrepresented brand that is not widely known but provide excellent excellent glass for the money. Hell I feel if they put their newest coating “meolux” on the binos like they do the scopes it would firmly put them in the alpha class, which I believe they belong in anyway regardless.

Just got my Maven 11x45s tonight. I will get them out and see what I think tomorrow but the build quality is top rate. The rubberized Grip is super nice.

Interested to hear your thoughts

Should preface IM no expert but to my eyes......

The Mavens are Epic. Best glass Ive ever looked through and I own Swaro 8x30 CL's These thing for Clarity, Edge to Edge, contrast, Color everything is superb. The B2 11x45s are where its at. Id put them up against anything out there on the market. They will hold their own.
