When flying in a super cub in Alaska, more specifically with 40mile air, do they include your rifle in your 50lb gear limit? Can you wear a sidearm while flying? Do they allow the bino harnesses while flying?

The rifle does not count against the 50 lb pack, I did wear my bino pack and had my pockets full. I did not wear a pistol.

Yup. What you’re wearing doesn’t count against the 50#, but I believe the rifle does.

From their hunter contact.....

In return of the payment for a hunt, the Carrier will transport the Hunter and a total of 50# of gear
plus a high powered rifle from the Carrier’s Tok base and return the Hunter, gear and rifle, plus
any acquired game with horns or antlers to the base from which the Hunter left (caribou and
moose require an additional fee). Moose hunters must bone out their animals and have the meat
in sturdy game bags not exceeding 50# each with a filled out change of possession ID tag
attached, which we will provide at check-in. If you desire, you can leave the rib meat on the bone,
but rib cage needs to be split and bagged separately. Caribou hunters may leave theirs bone in and
bagged to 50#. Antlers and capes must be removed from head of moose or caribou.
