Burris signature HD 3-15 x44 e3 reticle VS Lueplod VX 5 3-15x44

Hi ,i am seriously considering one of these but have not had the chance to See one here in the flesh in NZ we have not got that model here yet. .What are your thoughts or experiences with these scopes and how do they compare say against Leupold scopes .Any pro's or con;s you can think of ?. The closest direct comparison that i have here as far as features go is the vx-5 3-15 x44 . The Lueplod is $ 800,00 more expensive than Burris. Is it really that much better? Any help or thoughts would be appreciated. thanks Wayne

Perhaps a better question is anyone using the new Burris HD scopes and what do you think of them

Don’t have the Burris HD, have the Fullfield E1. It’s not a bad scope, but it’s not in the same league as the VX5HD, have 2 of those.
Had to send the Burris in back in July because the side focus wouldn’t turn. Still waiting on the replacement.

The new Signature scopes are made in China. For that reason, I wouldn't even consider one.

Very disappointed in Burris moving to China.

Well i have been on a few hunts with it now and it is a very good scope nice and bright in low light, repeatable dialing and pretty robust as i have tested the hard way with a really good tumble which resulted in a broken arm and two ribs. But after all that it held its zero and hasn't moved which is pretty impressive considering what i put it through. I have no problem recommending it as a good scope
