I would prefer QD, but if the price is right I would consider others. Also doesn't necessarily need to be a Burris mount.

Is the vapor the one with build in moa can't? I'm only planning on running a 1.5-6 x 33mm scope on a 5.56. Not sure if that would be necessary

Correct, the Warne Vapor has built in 20MOA. Only needed for longer range use.
