bullets sticking in die

Has anyone had issues with accubonds or any other bullets sticking in the seating die?? Any thoughts on causes or solutions?? Thanks Robin

I haven't had it happen to me but it happens. Is it a new die ? If so you need to take it apart and clean it really well then look if there are any tool marks in the seater. You may want to ask this question over at longrangehunting . There are some unbelievably experienced loaders over there . What brand of die is it ?

I have only had brass stick in sizer

Does this only happen with accubonds? If so, check to see if the taper of the bullet is fatter than the taper of the seating dies seating plug.

I had it happen to me using rcbs dies. I had to go really slow and easy during the seating proccess.

Thanks Guy's! ! It was a new RCBS die and the AB's were the first on the list. After two trys and two stuck bullete it started to work fine. I guess I finally got it clean enough ect...

I use Rem dry lube. So far it only happens with Barnes TSX.
