I'm looking to get into some decent binoculars and build up some optics for future hunts. My options are to buy some mid range binos (I've been considering the Nikon Monarch 7), or buy something a little more budget friendly (I'm thinking about the Vanguad Endeavor ED) and then save up for better binos moving forward. I've settled on the later plan for a spotting scope but I'm wondering if this is the best course of action for binos as well.

Don't buy a spotter until you have the best bino you can get. Then get a spotter.

If you buy cheaper binos knowing you'll be getting what you want later you are wasting your money.

I used a $10 Burris fixed 20x spotter for 5 years on pack trips into the Maroon Bells. They served their purpose.

Save up now. Buy a great set of binos. You will never regret paying the price for top tier binos. I would consider used from known good guys on here myself. I would probably save enough on the binos to pay for a great rangefinder.
