Here's some photos
Can't exactly make out the barrel stamp/code but it looks like a "RW"?? If so its a November 2002 build which with it having a "S" serial number could be about right. Its likely an older BDL stainless rifle - not a newer SPS stainless with the rougher finish. But I doubt that is the original stock for that rifle, looks to be a factory BDL stock but I don't think it came that way from Remington.

The stamp is RN. I believe it's an older bdl stock but on the barrel but just curious of the whole thing. Did it come from Remington this way or at home build?

Ok, so if its "RN" it should be a November 1993 which also makes sense. And no I doubt it came that way from Remington - thinking someone just swapped the stock for a wood stock and also added the brake.
