Browning BSS Side By Side 20 Gauge Shotgun With 26” Barrel

Year of Manufacture: 1975
Gauge: 20 Gauge, chambered for 2-3/4" and 3” shells
Markings: The frame is marked, “BROWNING” on the bottom with the serial number under the brake lever. The fore end is marked, “3517” The top of the barrels are marked, “B-S/S SPECIAL STEEL 20GA SHELLS - 2 ¾” AND 3” / BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. / MADE IN JAPAN AND ASSEMBLED IN KOREA” The barrel flats are marked, “3517B57”.
Barrel Length: 26”
Choke: Fixed. MODIFIED left, IMPROVED CYLINDER right.
Stock Configuration and Condition: The stocks are two-piece checkered walnut with beavertail fore end, thin semi-pistol grip, straight fluted comb, and rubber Pachmyr recoil pad. The LOP measures 14-9/16” from the front of the trigger to the back of the recoil pad.
Type of Finish: Blued
Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: Both bores are bright with no erosion.
Overall Condition: There is no rust but there is some light wear on the blueing near the muzzle. Look at the photos for the best idea of the shotgun's condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The lock up is tight with no play.
