I just wanted to take a minute to throw a big shout out to Brad at Argali. Last week I had an old buddy from active duty fly into town for the Memorial Day holiday weekend. He lives in Texas and plans to start trying to do some backpack hunting with me in the next couple of years. I reached out to Brad to see if we could take advantage of my buddy being in town to try on a couple of packs.
Not only did Brad allow us the opportunity to try on packs, he welcomed us into his garage where he runs his business, took a couple of packs out of the plastic to demonstrate the layouts (we primarily looked at Mystery Ranch packs), and adjusted a frame and pack to fit my friend so he could get an accurate idea of how it felt. On top of that, he stood around telling stories with us for probably 30 minutes, let us check out his new knife (which is even more impressive in person than online), and really treated us like we had all been long time friends.
Any of you that get a chance to work with Brad, check things out that he stocks in his store, or are even on the fence about placing an order, I truly can not recommend doing business with him enough. I know you can find great customer service from a lot of different companies now days, but my buddy and I really appreciated the time and effort that Brad put into being accommodating for us, even with no guarantee of a sale to be made.
