Well I finally got it in and boy do I love this bow! I'm still in the process of setting it up but omg the draw on this is smooth! I actually like the draw on this better than my old Insanity CPXL. 70lb 29" draw length

Well I finally got to put some arrows through my buddies chrono and this is what I got. Bow is rated at 360 FPS. With my GT Kinetic XT 300's 28.5" with outsert at 495.80 TAW I am getting around 296 FPS with 97 pounds of KE. (This is my elk set-up) For my buffalo arrow set-up I am shooting Easton FMJ's 300's with 50 gr. insert for a TAW of 550gr and I'm getting around 283 FPS with around 98 pounds of KE. I was never a speed freak bow guy but after listening to the owner of my local shop after he shot this bow at the ATA I was intrigued. It came in I shot it and liked it and the rest is history. I know a lot is subjective when it comes to bows and individuals but I have to say the draw on this is not harsh at all like one might expect. For me the draw cycle is very smooth. At the end it feels like it locks into the back wall and feels solid. Thus far I have had no creep issues. The bow does not feel like it wants to jump out of my hands if I tend to let up slightly after fatigue. I'm waiting for a hammer stabilizer from Vendetta Archery to come in and my set-up should just about be complete. Can't wait for September to get here. Until then hogs will have to do!

Arch, Really nice shooter you got there. Im shooting the Bowtech Carbon knight and completely enjoy shooting it. the RPM is pretty sick in the curve and how it looks. some great KE.

congrats.... shot this bow last week, was 63# peak and it felt like 50#, drew easy. if i get one it will be a 70# witch will prob be around 73# ish peak i imagine. plenty for mountain hunting as i like to know i can draw it after hiking all day. i really liked it but i was bummed about the grip. sucks they went with that plastic grip that if changed voids bows warranty and i also think it cheapend the appearence. the grip was fat compared to past and my current 2 piece wood grip that i love on my bowtech. guess i am a grip baby.....

I gotta say that was the one thing I did not know if I would like (grip). I do not care for the look but that grip is more rubberish for lack of a better word and if it is raining or slick with whatever weather throws at you the grip acts tackier for a better grip IMO. I don't wear gloves when shooting in Sept but if one were to wear gloves my opninion is you will not get any slippage with this new grip. In the field I'm going to like it. The grip is beefier and for me it actually fits my hand better. I love the look of the "old" wood grips on the Bowtechs but this new one just feels more solid in my hand.
