Anybody got one of these? Opinions/comments/reviews?

Thinking about getting one mainly for in the field emergency repairs but also would like to use it as a home press to avoid a 400 dollar purchase. Mainly just to change out strings, peeps, and that type of thing. I wouldn't be using it much so if its a little more time consuming that won't be an issue.

I've used mine for years to do exactly what you want to do with it. Would be nice to have a full sized press but it does the job.
Just make sure to keep it well lubricated.

Same as weaver - used mine on 2 different bows, worked for what I need. Will probably get a full sized press at some point, if I can find one for a good price, but have no issues is the Bowmaster until then.

i do all my work at home with a bowmaster. Built this little stand out of 2x to hold my bow while using it.

Used one for a year before I ended up buying an EZPress. Works really well for one off repairs but started to tune friend's bows and pressing with it that often got old in a hurry.

Thanks for the replies. EZ, I really like that idea, I think I will do something similar.
