Bow A Constrictor Press

Was thinking of buying this press for my home shop? Any Rokslider opinions on this or am I better off looking at something else?

I have one and it works great. Just make sure you have the ceiling height if you're getting the draw board attachment. Packs up pretty easy if you need to take it with you to the range or even on a trip - there's a picture of one collapsed into a pelican rifle case out there... Hoyt approved even for the Defiant series. It does get top heavy with the draw board attachment - so you have to make sure you secure it well.

Used the Bow Time Machine before this and moved to the Bow-A after having a scare trying to press one of my Hoyts.

I need 57" bench to ceiling to use my scale at a 29" draw. I've got low ceilings in my basement so have it on a low mounted bench.

You can get away with less without the scale, smaller scale, or shorter DL.

Ha, I don't know how I missed this thread. I've had a Bow A for years. It was my main press when I had my shop, even after I got my X Press (which I later sold). Been shooting recurves the past several years and mine is just sitting in the corner with my vise, Easton arrow saw, and my old rolling tool chest full of cams, peeps, limbs and everything in between.

You are only about the twentieth person who has wanted that saw. I've even got a bunch of extra blades for it. It's the Easton Elite. It still works like a champ, I'm spoiled in that I can do any arrow work at home

Used one for years before it finally gave up the ghost and of course no parts available. It’s a fine arrow saw. Better than anything out currently except for the LAS.
