How do these pants fit in the calf area? I have the original and like them but would like the hip vents.

I have a pair of 34s that I love, fit trim but not snug on my calves (and I'd say mine are a bit above average). The hip vents are a non-negotiable for me now, I really like these pants in the proper size

I just measured my calf diameter, and it's 20" I have the originals there snug but not a deal breaker. Most pants I have to size up to 38 for my legs. If there the same fit as the original they will work.

I can measure them tomorrow if youd like, i'd say they are an athletic fit
