I was at the Great American Outdoor Show this Year (2026) and stopped by the Born Primitive booth. I was looking at the Frontier Light 2.0 pants in Gray Wolf which they didn't have so the rep there told me they had them and ordered them for me at the show price $96.23. They sent me an email on saturday, Feb 7th telling me the order was getting ready to ship. The next email I got on Wednesday, Feb 11th telling my order has bee refunded because they didn't have the pants after I was told they did have them.
Here was my reply:
"Hi,
The order was made at the Great American Outdoor Show by one of your reps, he said you had them.
I paid $90.35 for the Men's Frontier Pant Light 2.0 Wolf Gray and now you are telling me I have to pay $139 - 20% = $111.20?
How about I pay what I paid at the show? $90.35 and I get them when they come in."

A 20% code with an expiration date. I know it was only about $20 more if they did indeed get the pants in before 4/1.
What happened next blew me away. They sent me a code for the same discount at 3:03 P.M. that was good until the end of business that day which give me a couple of hours to order "SOMETRHING ELSE", Seriously?!

I also order the Savage shoe and told them I was canceling that order as well. They sent me a return label, I hope it is a prepaid label or I will be sending it COD.
I would encourage to do your own research and decide what you can tolerate. I can't tolerate someone telling me LIES like the guy did at the show.
Kuiu, Skree and Kuhl have always went out of their way with their customer service. I encourage to go to them for your future purchases.
I will never order anything from Born Primitive again. It appears they have adopted the Aron Snyder philosophy "Screw you if you don't like it". Good luck to them!!
