Im sure this has been discussed, but my searches have been futile. I have some kennetrek wax that I have used on a pair of hanwag boots. I got a new pair of zamberlans before the season and its time for some trestment.

Anyone have experience with zamberlans hydrobloc cream? Should I track some down and use that over the kennetrek wax I already have on hand?

So fyi if you use anything other then what the manufacturer produces they probably will void your warranty.

Hydroblok is more of a dwr it tries to shield the water off and keep it from sitting on the boot. But does not last very long imo.

I also don't think it really soaks in and actually conditions the leather.

I just did my zams with Kenny wax and this is how they look.
Haven't had them out yet.
