Bonito seep

I am not native to the area around unit 36, but will be hunting there in October. I live in tx and a bonzai scouting trip is not feasible for me, I was just hoping someone might be able to tell me if Bonito seep is an active source of water for a backpack hunter. It will help greatly in planning my trip. Thank you in advance for your help and advice.

Should be. All the springs are running hard this year. We've had a ton of rain in the Lincoln. Don't hunt that exact part of 36 (but near enough) and every spring in the area I hunt and have been scouting are running at levels that haven't been seen in years.

Last few years would have been a different story for you though. Good timing.
