Blackhorn 209 Storage

I’ll be loading my muzzleloader with Blackhorn 209 on November 22. Season lasts until December 23. Can I leave it loaded with powder the whole time? If not do you guys try to save the unused powder or toss it? What about charging tubes? Can I leave them charged for a month? Thanks

I just keep it in my gun. I try to avoid sudden temperature excursions to avoid condensation.

I have never had any problems. But I am also not an expert.

Keep it dry and cool.

I leave my rifles loaded with bh209 for months.

You may be doing this already, but, it’s a good idea to tape the muzzle after you load it too.
