Black spots on the lungs of a turkey?

If it was shot with a shotgun could it be some kind of trauma like blood clots? Did you poke one with the knife?

I did not poke one. I should have.

This was taken with a bow so no pellets.

Looking online I can find -1- other reference from a lady up in near SK about 6 years ago that had something similar.

did you contact an F&G bio in your area? Sometimes things like that can be harmless, others cause for concern.
