I just ordered a pair off of Camofire. I figured I would give them a shot for $60.
I saw that.. Let me know how they work out. I currently hunt in prana pants and love them but they look similar. If they wear anything like those I’ll buy some next time they come up.

Was thinking the exact same thing. Although, my Pranas are the best pants I've ever owned, so it might be tough to justify switching.

I bought some of the granite peak pants to try. I'll give some feedback when they arrive

I really wish they hadn't made the branding so gaudy. It's nice to be able to give pants a test, overtime, or even a second life outside of the field, but that's out of the question for me with the way they branded them.

I just take it off. I also do that with most hats of mine that have a company name on the side. Like for the iron will and kifaru hats, I'll keep the sweet patch on the front but I'll just take off the embroidery that actually spells the "Kifaru International" or "Iron Will Outfitters"

Quick review of the BlackOvis pants. I bought them from Camofire for $60. The pants are very comfy, they stretch very well when squatting. They feel very similar to Eddie Bauer Guide Pants. The branding they have stitched is a little gaudy. The biggest complaint that I have is the pants are tight in the butt area. And I have little to "no ass" according to my wife, so it is a little odd that they fit tight in that area. The waist and the length are spot on. For $60, I would buy another pair. Hope this helps.

Looking at pulling the trigger on these but I have long legs and usually wear 36"x36" jeans. Has any one purchashed the 36x34 and feel they are long enough on the legs?

I just received my pair of granite peak midweight pants. I really like the material. They are polyester but they arent brushed, which I really like. The 4 way flex is awesome but they are tight in the butt and thighs. I'm a size 34 waist but these pants are pretty damn tight in the butt area, but that's a problem for me with most pants. I like the cut in the crotch, not shallow like most pants these days. I am going to size up and see how well the 36s fit. I do really like the pocket layout and the material is very quiet.

I'm just starting to get into "technical" hunting clothes. Do you tend to order pants with an inseam similar to your jeans or to your dress pants? I tend to wear 34x34 in jeans and 34x32 in dress pants. I am asking because of wearing boots with hunting pants and most of my current hunting pants are just size large.
