Alright I'm looking for suggestions on wether to use a mono pod or tripod for my 10x42 Nikon Monarch 3 binos. This will be for glassing mule deer and antelope in Western Nebraska. Also, will take this setup to the mountains as well for elk. Just looking for suggestions. I know this isn't high power glass, but just looking for comfort when glassing for long periods of time.

Undoubtably I would opt for the tripod when glassing for long periods of time. A stable platform is a lot easier on the eyes, also if you are concentrating on one spot you can take your eyes away from your binos for a break then instantly refocus on the exact same spot.

Tripod. You can use it as a monopod too for quick looks and then if there is something you want to see better just extend the legs and use it like a tripod.
